I thought last week was bad, but it turns out a mutiny is a picnic compared to an evil wizard magically kidnapping my best friend Val. A mutiny is a normal occupational hazard for a pirate. Evil wizards? That's new.

To rescue Val, I have to sail into the heart of Kill Magpie Flint territory: Port Elizabeth, the local bastion of so-called 'civilised society'. All my enemies are waiting for me and I'm going to make them pay for taking Val.

I now have four hot men in my cabin, and I still can't get any action. My prisoner, Commodore St Stephen, has stopped wanting me dead but I can't convince him that lawlessness isn't contagious.
